I have always been fascinated with and wanted to understand human behaviour, and why people do what they do.
From understanding comes clarity, commitment and ultimately, the choices we give ourselves.
And sometimes in the journey of life, you need an experienced navigator. I can help you travel more smoothly in your career and your life. I have worked in a variety of professions including hotel management, fitness, real estate, humanitarian aid and counselling. I am also a daughter, sister, wife, carer, friend and mother. In all these areas I have honed my skills to deliver the best and thought deeply about how to share this expertise with others.
I came to counselling as a result of these experiences and realising that for me this was the personally most rewarding way I could take my life experience forward.
I went on to study mediation to extend my knowledge and offer support to couples going through separation and divorce (FDR) and helps people work through conflict and repair relationships (NMAS).
I have a very rich and varied professional background. My work in the community over ten years includes being a telephone counsellor at Lifeline, Community Educator with PANDA (Post and Ante Natal Depression Association) and Counsellor at Hands on Health Clinic at the Sacred Heart Mission and I currently am a volunteer with Red Cross Australia and Ronald McDonald House.
I am a member of the Australian Counselling Association, ACA College of Supervisors and the Mediation Institute RMAB. I actively participate in a range of professional development activities.
Whether working as your Counsellor ,Personal Coach, Mediator or Supervisor I will offer you the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential, non-judgmental environment. Our work together will be focused on devising strategies and solutions that fit your life, your values, and your goals.
Together we will work through your current issues with dignity and respect.
This is my bond of trust.
